“I have used Gateway Storage in Silverdale from 2016. I ran a Print Management Company, including hi value promotional items that required security storage. This was vital to my business as previously items went missing and I was responsible for our clients stock, any damage or loss was at my cost.

I worked from home in Orewa so the proximity of Gateway was ideal. I selected Gateway as they were a family business well run, undertook superior security processes, access was 7 days a week between 6-00am to 10-00pm that suited me for urgent despatches at a time convenient to me. The premises were always clean and provided a variety of trolleys to assist their clients. When arriving your specific key automatically removed the security and on departing engaged the security.

I enjoyed the benefits of using an establishment that provided personal service through the owners of the business rather than a national company with a local Manager. Graham & Kerry Law were a pleasure to deal with and nothing was any trouble to them.

I have used quite a few self storage companies over the years for personal items and business files etc. When I was looking last time, I rang around quite a few different companies, in the Whangaparaoa, Silverdale area, checking on availability and price. One of the hardest things I find is to estimate how much storage you actually need, so you would expect a storage company to try to make you book the biggest space. What impressed me was how helpful they were and that they were very particular to try to make sure I didn’t book anything too big. On their advice I booked a unit one size down from the one I enquired about which turned out to be perfect and especially as I saved myself some money. I have been very happy with the unit.
